Unfortunately, in general, this is not just a saying. According to many studies, testosterone in men declines of 1% year-over-year on average. This means that in the 1970s, the average man’s testosterone was about 50% higher than it is today. What causes this decline in testosterone and overall manliness? While there are many factors, one of the main ones remains the lifestyle and comfort we all enjoy these days. Social media guarantee an instant influx of dopamine available by simply unlocking your phone. Overall, the trend of choosing instant gratification over the long term journey of improvement is very much in vogue. Modern man is much less likely to step out of his comfort zone, not seeking challenges, afraid of failure… This is what is pushing humanity as a whole backwards.
